What is Bear Creek Prairie? Bear Creek Prairie is a proposed conservation community to be built in Northeast Columbia near Albert Oakland Park. Specifically, it is located on 17 acres on the south side of Northland Drive between Rangeline Street (Hwy 763) and Parker Street.

Our Vision To develop a residential community that is environmentally responsible, pedestrian friendly, encourages community interaction and is a model for sustainable land use development.

May 16-18th, 2010 - Two presentations at NAHB's National Green Buidling Conference Matt Belcher to speak at two presentations at NAHB's National Green Buidling Conference in Raliegh NC May 16-18 Matt will participate on an educational panel to discuss D.O.E.'s Building America Program and its "Builder's Challenge." He will also moderate a discussion about Green Lot Design and Development using the National Green Building Standard.

May 14th - New Kirkwood Home acheives HERS Score of 39! Our newly constructed home in Kirkwood acheived a Home Energy Rating of 39 which signifies it is 61% above code requirements for Energy Efficient Construction!
